WELCOME TO BENVALOR

Who we are
Benvalor was founded in 2008 by five lawyers from a major firm of attorneys-at-law and tax lawyers. An important objective for the founders was to create a firm in which civil lawyers and tax specialists are able to work together rather than alongside each other. All of Benvalor’s civil lawyers and tax specialists are attorneys-at-law and they form a close-knit team of experts who provide clients with integrated civil-law and tax advice, and represent clients in litigation and disputes.

What we do
We do not set out to do everything, but to do what we do excellently. We specialize in business-law advisory and litigation practice, where our unique feature is our integrated approach to civil and tax law. Clients approach us for mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, tax planning, drafting contracts and conducting proceedings and dispute procedures, in employment law, tax law, contract law and other legal fields. In all these matters we have the capability to advise on both the civil and tax aspects. As true business-law specialists, we deliver expertise and experience befitting a major firm, while our efficient cost structure allows us to keep our tariffs well below the corresponding level. We work closely with other firms for fields that lie outside our main focus, such as criminal law, administrative law and family law.

Our working approach
Our approach is practical and energetic. Fast and efficient. Our basic attitude is conflict-avoiding and solution-oriented, but where necessary we will not hesitate to intervene firmly. Another feature of our approach is personal commitment and dedication, ease of access and a constant focus on sustainability. We are pleased to exchange ideas with our clients in order to arrive at a solution that not only works well in the short term, but is also successful into the future, in both civil and tax law and business terms. Sustainability also applies to relationships with our clients. Many of our clients have been advised by us for decades.

International
We cherish our extensive personal network of lawyers in all important jurisdictions in the world, and we accordingly invest much time in maintaining these contacts. The personal nature of this network allows – if necessary – contact to be made extremely rapidly with a lawyer abroad. We are fully independent in our work and our contacts are not limited to one firm per jurisdiction, which enables us to select the right firm to provide the support needed in a specific case. This gives our firm important added value in all cases with an international dimension.
