Gerdien Mulder will participate in the 18th IBA Annual Global Insolvency and Restructuring Conference that will be held in Helsinki on 20-22 May to discuss i.a. current trends in shipping restructurings, the rights of a licensee when the licensor is insolvent and strategies to get the best recovery for creditors confronted with a cross-border insolvency.

Huan Tan and Gerdien Mulder will participate in the 17th IBA Annual Global Insolvency and Restructuring Conference that will be held in Paris on 22-24 May in order to expand their international network in Benvalor’s corporate restructuring and recovery practice and to discuss the financing and valuation of distressed entities.
Concetta Allegra, Gerdien Mulder and Michiel Groenland will visit Milan and Verona on 17 and 18 March to visit acquainted law firms and the Dutch consulate general.

Gerdien Mulder studied Dutch law at Utrecht University, specializing in private law and criminal law. She has been an attorney at law since 2006, initially with Van Mens & Wisselink and since May 2008 with Benvalor. Her field of work is corporate law in the broadest sense, with a focus on insolvency law, restructuring operations and surety. Her clients are companies with financial issues, and their finance providers, shareholders, managers and creditors. She also practises employment law and provides advice and conducts legal proceedings in connection with reorganizations and individual dismissals.
